Objective: To prepare student for future studies in Media Arts and Animation. In this independent study the students will do advanced work in animation extremes and in-betweens. By the end of the school year the students will have created an animated short.
Software: Line Test Program, Flash, iMovie, After Effects, (possibly Animo or flipbook).

Essay on the history of animation:
Build a complex timeline describing major developments in this focused study. Must include dates and information on major happening (i.e., sale of personal computers, major video game machines, software, and technology in animation). Use no quotes-only original writing.
Do a separate timeline of what you think will happen in the future. (i.e., [2070] First bio-virtual suits sold in Japan. German company, Rez-Tech, introduced 300 outfits that were offered to the public for $600,000 each. They sold out in 2 hours. Popular games dig dug and pac man were re-introduced as virtual reality games).
